FAQ

1. Do we need to book?
No you do not need to book just drop in and paint. During busy holiday periods it would be advisable to ring us if you are a group of more than 3 people.

2. Do I need to be artistic?
No definitely not. We have a large selection of stamps, sponges, stencils, examples and ideas books. Also all of our experienced staff are on hand to help with ideas, techniques and drawings.

3. If I can't paint will you paint it for me?
Yes, you can commission us to paint a piece especially for you. An experienced member of staff will talk through ideas and create your bespoke piece. We charge for the piece that you choose and then a £5 min charge for the artists work.

4. How much does it cost?
Our cheapest piece of pottery is £6 (4” tile) and the most expensive piece is £50 (large platter). There is a piece of pottery to suit every budget on average between £8 and £15.

5. How many days will it be until the pieces are ready?
7 days. We also offer a 4 Day express service for a small charge of £5, it is £2.50 per piece for every piece after the first (express pieces must be finished before 15:00 to allow for drying, glazing and loading)

6. Do you have refreshments?
Yes, we pride ourselves on also having a relaxing downstairs café with great homemade food. We've also got a conscience and only serve fairtrade tea and coffee, spend hours recycling(!) and use eco friendly products when we can. We cater for all family members, with a special children's menu + crayons to keep little ones occupied, vegetarian options, breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, panini's, homemade soup, afternoon tea and of course our selection of yummy cakes served on plates which we created in our pottery studio.
